21-3 triumph over Sir Clive Woodward's disappointing Lions team in the Test
Series opening match.
The Lions were lacklustre in every area in
Christchurch and, to rub salt into the wounds, have lost skipper Brian
O'Driscoll for the rest of the Test Series. The Irish player dislocated his
shoulder after less than sixty seconds had been played in the opening match.
The crushing loss sees Woodward's team needing
victory in both their final two Tests in Wellington and Auckland. The Lions
