There’s one more competitive assignment left for England’s senior players before they can break for the summer. Next Tuesday, the team will host Senegal in a friendly international but before that game, there’s the more serious World Cup qualifier in Spain on Saturday (5pm; TV: Live on ITV): Andorra vs England.
While there are some absentees due to injuries and the upcoming Club World Cup, manager Thomas Tuchel is able to field a strong side, which should have too much for one of the group’s minnows. England will carry short odds into this match, but there will be other markets to explore. Read on for our full match preview with betting tips.
Technically, Andorra are the hosts, but the game takes place in Barcelona at the RCDE Stadium. England will head into the tie as red hot favourites. Most leading UK bookmakers are offering a price of just 1/50 on the visitors. In the early exchanges in Group K, Andorra have lost both of their opening matches and have failed to score. The two defeats started with a loss at home to Latvia, while a trip to Albania ended with a 3-0 reverse.

Kane has scored in each of the two World Cup qualifying matches to date. Back-up strikers Ivan Toney and Ollie Watkins follow at 11/4, but both could start from the bench. Anyone named among the subs is unlikely to score the first goal here. Cole Palmer is on offer at 4/1 with Bukayo Saka at 5/1. Some longer-priced options include Anthony Gordon and Eberechi Eze, who can both be claimed at 6/1.
Andorra’s shortest option in the first goalscorer betting is Guillaume Lopez at a best of 33/1. The striker has just one senior cap, but last season scored heavily for his domestic side, Inter Club d’Escaldes.
Moving away from player markets, Both Teams to Score is quoted for Saturday’s game at a top price of 18/5. If you’re considering the ‘no’ option on BTTS, this carries the shorter odds of 2/9.
Next up is Total Goals where a stake Over the 2.5 line is currently listed at those same 2/9 odds. Lifting that to over 3.5 goals leads to a best of 4/7, so you might want to consider over 4.5 at a general 6/5. If you are expecting fewer attacking endeavour than the bookies, Under 2.5 goals may be the way to go at a best of 7/2.
Lastly, we’ll look at some Correct Score options. England are heavy favourites on the night, while those Both Teams to Score odds suggest Andorra won’t trouble the visitors’ goal.
