Party Poker is no longer recommended and we advise you avoid this GVC-owned poker site. Parent company GVC have proved themselves to be dishonest in their dealings with their promotional business partners and they can’t be trusted. There have been strange happenings at all their brands. JustBookies’ fear is that the devious nature of this dodgy firm means players could be at risk. There have been a ton of player complaints recently, you only have to read their diabolical Trustpilot reviews to get the lowdown – they average just 1.5 stars! If you are looking for a great poker site, we recommend Bet365 Poker instead or read through this list of top rated operators. The Party Poker review below is from when we did recommend them and it should now be ignored.
Party Poker is the largest online poker company in the world with up to 100,000 poker players online at any one time. Parent company Party Gaming plc was floated on the London Stock Exchange in June 2005, valued at £5billion. That figure is no misprint, they went straight into the FTSE 100, that is how big this company is. They have since merged with bwin to form bwin.party plc. Party Gaming holds licenses in the strict regulatory states of Gibraltar and Alderney and has evolved into a betting site that offers every aspect of online gambling, not just poker.
Here are their main brands. We review their bonuses below. Click on the link to go to the landing page of your choice:

More Detail About Party Poker
In this section we offer a more in-depth Party Poker review, giving details about the bonuses and player points system as well as some history and factual information about the parent company.
They are offering new customers the opportunity to double their initial deposit through a 100% welcome bonus that could add up to $500 to your account with them. Do not be confused by the fact the home page may say a lower figure. It is up to $500 and their ‘promotions’ page will confirm this. Party Poker History
PartyPoker.com began trading in 2001. At that time it was Party Gaming’s premier website. It has subsequently developed to become one of the most substantial poker rooms online. Today, they are part of bwin.party digital entertainment plc. That means that they operate under the auspices of the most massive publicly listed gaming business online in the entire world. If you like to play with a seriously big operation that is not going to fold in the foreseeable future, Party Poker definitely fit the bill.
Bwin.party was created back in 2011 when PartyGaming Plc and bwin Interactive Entertainment AG (who were previously known as Betandwin) decided to join forces through a merger in the spring of 2011. The result was an absolutely colossal group with over 3,000 staff deployed across Europe, the United States, India and Israel. Revenues in 2010 exceeded €810 million – so you know that you are going to be dealing with a heavyweight gaming provider.
It is licensed by and under the regulation of the Gibraltar Gambling Commission within the confines of the Gambling Act passed in 2005. All games are driven by bwin.party systems. They are tested by independent experts, iTech Laboratories, to ensure that they operate correctly, are completely fair and that all of their outcomes are completely random. This review can assure you that there are no question marks over the integrity of any of the games on offer or the random generation of the playing cards.
Playing at Party Poker
You will find everything you would expect from a premier poker room, but with more players to play against at whatever time of day it suits you to have a game. There is Texas Hold’em in every possible form and the same goes for Omaha. There is also plenty of Seven Card Stud action.
There are plenty of cash games, play money games, Sit & Gos, Multi Table Tournaments, Shootouts, Heads Up, Shootout Satellites, Bounty Tournaments and every other form of tournament you could wish for. There is also the possibility of playing blackjack or roulette.
The biggest cash prizes are, as with the majority of poker rooms, on offer at the weekend. Every Sunday there is a $200K Guaranteed tournament. You can simply pay $15 to buy into the tournament. Alternatively, if you manage to reach one of the top ten positions in one of the qualifying freerolls (which are country specific and take place each day), you will also be able to win a seat.
In the course of our Party Poker review we found the site to be very new player friendly. The software is sophisticated (the original system was recently replaced) but extremely easy to use. If you would like to see how it all works, there is a useful video tour which takes you through everything you need to know to start playing with them. You are shown how to select the game of your choice and even your preferred seat at any table. There is also extensive information on how to play all the games on offer so you do not have to read up on the details anywhere else. It gives a great introduction to the online poker concept for a new player.
For regular players there is a carefully structured Palladium reward programme with a number of levels offering different benefits including cash back, poker bonuses and entry to special tournaments. The more you play and the more Party Points you consequently earn, the higher the level of benefits on offer. The levels are assessed on a monthly basis so you will always be rewarded for your recent volume of play.
There is also a potentially valuable referral programme. If you really enjoy playing at the site and decide to refer a friend to the site, you and your friend will be given $10 each time your friend acquires 60 PartyPoints, up to a maximum of $100. There is no limit to the number of friends you can refer so you could receive up to $100 on a regular basis.
Deposits and Payouts
Their website offers over thirty different methods for depositing money. They include bank transfers, credit and debit cards and internet based wallets. There are significantly fewer methods of withdrawing your funds but no problems have been experienced since the website stopped accepting US-based clients.
Party Poker 100% First Deposit Bonus of up to $500 details
You have the opportunity to match the amount of your initial deposit up to a maximum amount of $500. That means that if you make a first deposit of $1,000, you will only be able to gain a maximum welcome bonus of $500. We did mention this earlier in the Party Poker review, but now we give more detail about the terms of this great offer.
To double the amount of your first deposit, you will need to gain the required number of Party Points within 60 days of the date of your initial deposit. The number of Party Points needed varies depending on the currency you chose to make your deposit:
- If you made your first deposit in Canadian or US dollars, you will have to earn six times your bonus figure in Party Points.
- If you initially deposited in Euros, you will have to earn eight times your bonus amount.
- If you made your first deposit in Sterling, you will need to gain nine times your initial bonus amount in Party Points.
To gain Party Points you just have to play in almost any real money cash game including jackpot games. But you will not be credited with any points for playing Top Trumps, Texas Hold’em bonus poker and live dealer games.
You will earn two points for every single $1 you are responsible for adding to the PartyPoker.com rake.
You receive your points instantly when you finish each hand or, if you are playing in a Party Poker tournament, at the second you win or drop out of it. If you like to play something other than poker, you can also gain points by playing in the casino (Party Casino), sports betting, bingo or backgammon.
Party Poker Review Conclusion
This is a potentially profitable site for both new and established poker lovers. There is never any shortage of traffic and it is one of the easiest websites to use. There have been no recent issues with any aspect of the service provided and we are just one of a plethora of positive reviews. The 100% welcome bonus for new players and reward programme for existing clients makes Party Poker a site worth joining.

I cant remember last time my KK held up. Too much suck outs. Very suspicious. 70% in all-in means here 50%. I lost 2000e with AK/AQ vs A7 type of hands. That's not normal.
I am a long time player and member of Partypoker and after 4 years I can confirm it’s a scam and totally rigged. Their complaint response is quick but completely bs gaslighting on how they meet the corrupt cartel’s gambling requirements. If you’re about being a loser partypoker is perfect for you! Scam Alert 🚨
Partypoker is a scam with casino and poker, Im 100% sure and have thousands of recordings of their cheating system.
Gone downhill since the days of old when it was a US-facing unregulated poker site on the fringe of legality. Nowadays it is a badly run pile of rubbish and the payments withdrawals are slow. I have had to chase them continuously. Customer service is rude, ignorant and unhelpful. Nobody cares anymore.
How do you get paid by Party Poker? I requested payout a week ago and still waiting. CS just tell me to hang on. Unacceptable.
I play at Party Poker quite a bit. It is ok but no way a top online poker room.
